Net sales for the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period of the prior decreased by 24%, going from $659 million pesos to $501 million pesos.
Cost of sales represented 80% of sales in the third quarter 2025, compared to 82% in the third quarter 2024.
Gross profit for the third quarter of 2025 decreased 13% compared to the same period of the prior year, going from $116 million pesos in the third quarter of 2024 compared to $101 million pesos in the third quarter of 2025.
Sales, administrative and distribution expenses decreased 20% compared to the same period of the prior year, going from $201 million pesos in the third quarter of 2024 to $160 million pesos in the third quarter of 2025. As a percentage of sales, sales, administrative and distribution expenses represented 32% of sales in the third quarter of 2025 compared to 30% in the third quarter of 2024.
EBITDA for the third quarter of 2025 was negative in the amount of $36 million pesos compared to a positive EBITDA of $3 million pesos in the third quarter of 2024.
Consequently with the above, and among other issues, in the third quarter of 2025, we had a loss of $101 million pesos, compared to a net loss of $62 million pesos in the third quarter of 2024.
Accumulative results as of September 2025
Accumulated net sales as of September 2025 decreased by 11% compared to the same period of the prior year, going from $1,838 million pesos to $1,637 million pesos.
Cost of sales represented 78% of accumulated sales as of September 2025, compared to 83% of sales in the same period of the prior year.
Gross profit accumulated as of September 2025 increased 11% compared to the same period of the prior year, going from $321 million pesos accumulated as of September 2024 to $357 million pesos accumulated as of September 2025.
Sales, administration and distribution expenses decreased 18% compared to the prior period, going from $598 million pesos accumulated as of September 2024 to $488 million pesos accumulated as of September 2025. As a percentage of sales, sales, administration and distribution expenses represented 30% of accumulated sales as of September 2025 compared to 33% accumulated as of September 2024.
EBITDA accumulated as of September 2025 was negative in the amount of $97 million pesos compared to a negative EBITDA of $57 million pesos accumulated as of September 2024.
Consequently with the above, and among other issues, as of September 2025, we had a loss of $389 million pesos, compared to a net loss of $291 million pesos accumulated as of September 2024.
